Services
For 25 years I have been counselling people in Switzerland who live between cultures. My work is practical, respectful and confidential.

A quiet place to sort out your thoughts. For people settling in Switzerland or living between two cultures.
Sometimes you need a quiet place to sort out your thoughts. In individual counselling we talk about what is on your mind: settling in Switzerland, homesickness, questions of identity, everyday pressure or an important decision. Together we look for concrete steps that fit you and your life.
Format: in person in Schaffhausen or online.
Fee: CHF 120.- per session (60 minutes). Payment by invoice or TWINT.

Two cultures, one relationship. I help you understand each other better and find shared solutions.
In binational couples, different languages, values and expectations come together. This is a richness and sometimes a source of conflict. I help you understand each other better and find shared solutions. I support you, for example:
- with conflicts and disagreements about raising children between two cultures
- after infidelity, on the way to rebuilding trust
- during a separation or divorce
- with grief and a new beginning after divorce
Format: in person in Schaffhausen or online.
Fee: CHF 120.- per session (60 minutes). Payment by invoice or TWINT.

About me
I am a clinical psychologist and have worked in Switzerland for 25 years. I hold a master’s degree in cognitive behavioural therapy, a master’s degree in psychotherapeutic interventions, a master’s degree in conflict resolution and an expert qualification in couples therapy. I completed my PhD in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Tokyo.
Migration is part of my own story. I am the granddaughter of immigrants, I have lived in several countries and I came to Switzerland as a foreigner myself. As a wife and mother in a bicultural family, I know the joys and the difficulties of this life first hand.
That is why working with people who are settling in a new country or living between two cultures matters so much to me.
I am a member of the FSP (Federation of Swiss Psychologists) and of the SGVT.
